Join the Rookie Class of 2027

Every great run has a first lap. The ILTCI Future Leaders Program is where yours begins — a half-day seminar and networking experience built for promising early-to-mid-career professionals attending their first ILTCI Conference, Sunday, March 14, 2027 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis.

In one afternoon, you’ll get the whole track: fast-moving sessions taught by experienced industry leaders across every discipline of long-term care, interactive exercises that put you shoulder-to-shoulder with your peers, lunch with the class, and a networking reception that rolls straight into the conference’s Opening Reception.

Through the ILTCI Future Leaders Program, we hope to both engage professionals and grow the next generation of industry leaders to develop interdisciplinary knowledge and network necessary to excel at later stages of their careers.

Program Format: The Program is a half-day pre-conference seminar from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday, March 14, 2027.  The Program will include lunch, several networking breaks and track sessions. Track presentations will be conducted by experienced industry leaders who will review the fundamentals of the various disciplines and their impact on Long Term Care insurance (LTCi).

Candidate Profile: We are looking to enroll professionals who have the potential to be the future leaders of our industry. Ideal candidates are early-to-midlevel management professionals and other promising non-management professionals who are attending their first ILTCI Conference*, excel in their current positions, demonstrate strong commitment to LTCi and their organizations, are dedicated to developing a broad base of LTC knowledge and a professional network, and display solid leadership initiative and potential.

* Limited exceptions may apply, such as for previous conference attendees who have just moved into management positions.  

Program Cost: Registration fees are subsidized by the Conference Association to support the development of future LTCi leaders. The participant fee is $400 (as of DATE), which includes full conference registration.

To register as a Future Leaders participant, select the Individual Attendee registration option and enter the discount code futureleaders2 in the coupon code field that appears below the Individual Attendee section on the first page of the registration process.

Participation in the Future Leaders Program is limited. Program Leadership reserves the right to review and approve all registration requests and may limit the number of participants from any one organization. Companies that sponsor and/or exhibit at the ILTCI Conference may be allocated additional participant slots compared to non-sponsoring and non-exhibiting organizations.

If your Future Leaders Program registration is approved but you do not attend the program, your registration will be converted to a standard ILTCI Conference registration, and you will be responsible for paying the difference between the Future Leaders Program fee and the standard conference registration fee.

Program Leadership: The Program is being chaired by Paula Johnson (Vice President, Claims and Care Management Operations at illumifin).  Committee members include Josh Falco (AVP, Product Development at Lincoln Financial Group), Kirill Grin (Consulting Actuary at illumifin) and Loretta Jacobs (Vice President and LTC Chief Actuary and Chief Financial Officer at Prudential Financial).
