March 26 - 29, 2017 - Hyatt Regency - Jacksonville, Florida
17th Annual Intercompany
Long Term Care Insurance Conference
Navigating the Future
Future Leaders
The ILTCI Conference Association is pleased to announce the development of a new pre-conference leadership program called the ILTCI Future Leaders
Program. This program is being developed and led by ILTCI Executive Committee members Carroll Golden, and Michael Rafalko, co-chair of the long term care
insurance practice at the law firm Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. As described in greater detail below, the ILTCI Future Leaders Program is intended to give
promising early-to-mid level management and other non-management professionals with leadership potential the opportunity to participate in a half-day pre-
conference seminar, organized networking function and track guidance program at a significant discount from the standard ILTCI registration rate. Through the
ILTCI Future Leaders Program, we hope to both boost interest in the ILTCI among younger professionals and to encourage the next generation of industry
leaders to develop the interdisciplinary knowledge and network necessary to excel at later stages of their careers.
The Future Leaders Program will run from 12:30pm to 4:30 pm Sunday March 26th in the River Terrace 2 room.
Program Format. The Program will be a half-day pre-conference seminar that will open with lunch on Sunday, March 26, 2017, followed on Sunday afternoon by
a 30 minute primer session from each of the eight conference tracks. The primer sessions will be conducted by experienced professionals from each
conference track and will cover key current issues within that track. The primer sessions will conclude with a networking event that will take place at the
opening exhibit hall reception on Sunday evening. For the regular conference program on Monday and Tuesday, each participant will be matched with an
experienced professional in his or her discipline to help navigate the track sessions and meet other experienced professionals.
Candidate Profile. Ideal candidates are early-to-midlevel management professionals and other promising non-management professionals who excel in their
current position, demonstrate a strong commitment to LTCI and their organization, are dedicated to developing a broad base of LTC knowledge and a
professional network, and display solid leadership initiative and potential. Put candidly, we are looking to enroll those professionals that have the potential to
be the future leaders of our industry.
Program Cost. The ILTCI Executive Committee will support this initiative financially by reducing the registration for participants in the Program to only $95.00,
which also entitles each participant to attend the conference events through Wednesday, March 29, at no additional cost. We hope the industry will see the
value of the Program by encouraging the development of our future leaders.
Program Leadership. In addition to Carroll Golden and Michael Rafalko, who are spearheading this initiative, we are looking for industry veterans to assist by
recruiting participants, presenting primer sessions and acting as track guides to our future industry leaders.
Please let us know whether you or a member of your team would like to participate as a presenter or track guide. Also, please let us know how many members
of your team are appropriate candidates for participation in the Program.
We will provide you with additional information about this initiative as it continues to develop. In the interim, please feel free to contact us with questions:
