Comedy Night - Tuesday, March 24th 7:30pm

New for the 2015 conference we are hosting our first Comedy Night! We have two great acts scheduled and we hope to see you there to enjoy the laughs. Sam Adams Smooth. Clever. Colorful. Hilarious. These words are often used to describe Sam Adams as a comedian, public speaker and Master of Ceremonies. In 2001, he stepped in front of a microphone to perform stand-up comedy for the first time – at age 41. Eight years later, the former award-winning sports journalist was inspired to start a full-time career in entertainment after winning at the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival. Off the record, Sam Adams left his job as an insurance clerk to pursue a career as a sports writer. During a career that lasted nearly 25 years, he established himself as one of Denver's premier sports journalists – voted by his peers as Colorado's “Print Journalist of the Year” in 2003. His work has been featured in print and video for The Denver Post, The Charlotte Observer, Rocky Mountain News and Colorado AvidGolfer magazine. His resume also includes television appearances on ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS and NFL Network. In 2014 he returned to the media, giving sports commentaries (Sports A to Z) for Denver's NBC affiliate KUSA-9NEWS. In 2013 he authored a book featuring highlights from his career in sports journalism titled, 'If You Don't Believe Me: Lessons Learned From Listening To The Greats.' Mark Robinson His standup comedy has gained rave reviews, an invitation to open for Jeff Foxworthy, and an appearance with late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. His abilities as a magician have won multiple awards, numerous engagements at Harrah's Casinos, and an invitation to perform for the prestigious academy of magical arts in Hollywood. His show has toured China three times as well as a command performance for the Incredible Acrobats of Shanghai. He has also done halftime shows for the NBA, performing at games for the Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Lakers. His unique abilities have been featured in national TV commercials and he has filmed television shows for Warner Brothers, NBC, and ABC. But it's his ability to weave a motivational message into the fun that has made Mark Robinson one of the busiest and best acts in the country. His show has been sought after by dozens of fortune 500 companies as a stress break for meetings, conventions and seminars across the country. Mark's enthusiastic on stage personality make him the perfect boredom buster.
